Our story
"Our humble beginnings began with a second-hand burger van we used to drag around Dumfries and Galloway back in early 2023. Initially, this was supposed to be my wife's venture. I was still working full time at Hidden River as the sous chef but, Ellie quickly built up a vast and loyal customer base and I knew almost immediately that she would need help. So, I left my job and started helping out with the burger van and we became so busy that we were able to sell our burger van and move into a permanent location, opening up a burger takeaway place in Gretna, called Grays! Demand was incredibly high and the kitchen was extremely intense. While I did enjoy it, the fast-paced environment combined with the late hours, really didn't suit our young family at the time. I knew it wouldn't be for us in the long-run"

Our history
"Fast forward a year and Ellie I managed to get our hands on this space in Eastriggs and we've been transforming it from the convenience store it used to be, into our vision; A great place to eat during the day, whether it be casual dining in or food to take away. I'm so proud of the work we've done and still continue to do. I'm a very lucky man to say that I really enjoy my job and I get to spend most of my days working with my family. It's been an intense journey but we've loved every second!"
