Our story
"Our humble beginnings began with the purchade of a second-hand burger van that I used to drag around Dumfries and Galloway back in early 2023, serving mostly breakfasts & homemade bakes.
Initially, this was supposed to be a part-time venture, as I was juggling child-care and finishing my degree, but I quickly built up a vast and loyal customer base and I knew almost immediately that this was the start of something brilliant! I enlisted the help of my friends & family and together, we became so busy that we were able to sell the burger van and move into a permanent location, opening up a burger takeaway place in Gretna.
Demand was incredibly high and the kitchen was extremely intense. While I did enjoy it, the fast-paced environment combined with the late hours, really didn't suit my young family at the time and I felt like I had somehow moved away from my initial business idea, which was to focus mainly on breakfasts & bakes. While it was invaluable experience and a brilliant busy wee busy, I knew ultimately that wouldn't be for me in the long-run"

Our history
"Fast forward to the end of 2025 and I managed to get my hands on this space in Eastriggs and I've been transforming it from the convenience store it always used to be, into my vision; A great place to eat during the day, whether it be casual dining in or food to take away. I'm so proud of the work we've done and still continue to do!
I'm a very lucky lady to say that I really enjoy my job and I get to bake all day and sit and have a coffee with our regular customers and I get to work alongside my friends & family. I have made some mistakes along the way but that's all part of the learning curve! It's been an intense but extremely fun journey. I've loved every second and for now, this is where I'll stay"
